Synopsis

Education is something more than the chapters we learn in book, It’s the blithe filled within four walls of classroom, the chaos, the beautiful rhythmic laughter of the kids in the back bench, the endless cry of teacher, the chitter chatter of the kids and whatnot. But alas, happiness between those four walls was silenced by one virus, which shook the entire world. This bought a new transformation to the education system where online schooling was introduced. As a contribution to the reality of online education, we made a short stop motion animation based on a song composed and played by Isabelle Siaki. In this stop motion we are portraying life of a normal student and the hardships she sails across the online classes. From the beginning of 7.00 am the life of student becomes a very slow paced. The zing of the classroom is lost somewhere amidst the muted mikes and turned off camera. The character tries to flee from the burden of assignments and tests, this is beautifully portrayed in the form of walk cycle in the musical. The rhythmic sarcastic tone in the lyrics of the song is sublimely captured in the animation. The entire mood of the song is shifted to a grave situation, where stress and trauma of the outside world inflicts a distress in the life of student, this is rhetorically captured in the animation and leaves most of us to wonder if pandemic will turn out to be an endless voyage for all students .This entire animation resembles the anarchy of new online education mode which is questioned for its ceaselessness.
